It's finally finished!
The project of re-building my old Litespeed has been completed for now. New wheels, new drivetrain, new cables and housing. And new stainless bottle cages too. The only thing left is a new fork but that's on hold for now. I'm still having a hard time deciding on what to do about that. After racing and riding the Lite for the last 8 years with really heavy wheels, the new DT wheels are great. (Wish I had some long hills to go up!) And why I don't replace cables and housing more often is beyond me. It shifts so much better and that's a cheap fix. Even though the bike's still not super-light, it's lighter than it was and I could feel the difference! Yippee!Bring on the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo. Menage a Quatre's gonna kick some ass!

It's the last day before we have to go back to work so we took the dogs for a short hike on Gates Pass.
