It's finally finished!

The project of re-building my old Litespeed has been completed for now. New wheels, new drivetrain, new cables and housing. And new stainless bottle cages too. The only thing left is a new fork but that's on hold for now. I'm still having a hard time deciding on what to do about that. After racing and riding the Lite for the last 8 years with really heavy wheels, the new DT wheels are great. (Wish I had some long hills to go up!) And why I don't replace cables and housing more often is beyond me. It shifts so much better and that's a cheap fix. Even though the bike's still not super-light, it's lighter than it was and I could feel the difference! Yippee!

Bring on the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo. Menage a Quatre's gonna kick some ass!

WTF?!

Global Warming is causing some wierd weather.

Tucson looks and feels like the arctic. We had snow last night and record cold (20 degrees) last week. We say, "we're not in Flagstaff anymore" but I'm beginning to wonder...

My mom just got back from Antarctica.

It doesn't look as cold as Tucson.

Heck, they don't even have fresh snow there.

It's the last day before we have to go back to work so we took the dogs for a short hike on Gates Pass.

Now back to the daily grind...
